Originally from Nova Scotia, via Argyllshire Scotland, Allan Eaton has been piping for more than 40 years in Canada, Great Britain and Europe with some of the world’s most famous pipe bands. A former Pipe Major of three pipe bands, Allan’s piping style and interpretation are authentic of the post war era when expression and clarity of fingering were demanded. Allan has entertained audiences large and intimate, including piping for HM The Queen, and on numerous occasions, for lesser heads of state. Having just recently joined Scantily Plaid, Allan contributes his great piping skills on 2 sets of bagpipes, along with his whistle and percussion talent.
